DOUGH-BOY & FRIENDS
HONG KONG MUSICIAN
Raised in Toronto and Singapore, Dough-Boy moved back to Hong Kong in 2007. He started producing music for regional artists while in college and pursued music as a career after graduation. His collaborators include freestyle legend MC Jin, pioneer Chinese rapper MC Hotdog and many more. He is the first and currently the only rapper to receive a prize at the prestigious Hong Kong Film Awards. After a premiere of his music video “You Think I’m Playing” by VICE China/NOISEY this past year, he started to take up the role of a solo rapper. His debut album release earlier this year, a collaboration with local toy designer Chino Lam, is sold out within the first month of release.
